Monday, February 10, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

Unsettled over the next two weeks…

Any light snow will change to light rain this morning. Highs today will be in the 40’s.

Tomorrow there will be light rain, ending at night. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.

Wednesday, clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening, with rain developing again at night, possibly starting as snow in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, as a strong disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Thursday the rain will end in the morning as a strong cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the  mid to upper 40’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, to the mid 50's to mid 60's in Central NJ.

Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurries as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 30’s.

Sunday and next Monday, February 17th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, February 18th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Wednesday, February 19th, and next Thursday, February 20th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Friday, February 21st, through next Sunday, February 23rd, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s.
