The pattern of a day or two of winter-like cold followed by 3-4 days of warmth will continue through the end of the month. The only interesting thing to watch will be a potential disturbance developing along the Gulf Coast the middle of the week and then moving eastward. There is a small chance that this storm could develop and give areas of the Carolinas some snow Thursday and Friday. It is a small chance, but at least there is something to watch. It would however be unlikely to turn northward and affect our area, if it does develop at all.
Today and tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s today and the 40’s to low 50’s tomorrow.
Tuesday, clouds will increase with rain developing in the late morning and early afternoon as a disturbance and cold front approach our area. Highs will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s in Central NJ.
Wednesday will then be nice behind the cold front with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow squall, snow shower, or flurry, as some Lake Effect moisture could reach our area. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Friday through next Tuesday, February 25th are then looking nice (I will however keep an eye on the disturbance that may develop in the Southeastern United States, just in case). Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s Friday, the mid to upper 40’s Saturday, and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Sunday through Tuesday.
Next Wednesday, February 26th, and next Thursday, February 27th, are then looking unsettled with a chance of showers next Wednesday and a chance of rain next Thursday as a disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Wednesday and the 40’s to low 50’s next Thursday.
Next Friday, February 28th and next Saturday, February 29th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday and the 30’s next Saturday.
Have a fantastic day!
