Thursday, February 13, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

Rain ending this afternoon and evening; colder Friday and Saturday, and then watching next weekend…

Today, any freezing rain will change to rain this morning and then the rain will end this afternoon and evening from west to east as a strong cold front passes through our area. Highs today will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Central NJ.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy and cold with a chance of a snow squall, snow shower, or flurry in the morning as some Lake Effect moisture could reach our area. Highs will range from the upper teens to low 20’s in Northeastern PA to the low 30’s in Central NJ.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and cold, with lows in the upper single digits to mid teens in the morning and highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Sunday and Monday will then be variably cloudy and warmer with highs in the 40’s Sunday and the mid 40’s to low 50’s Monday.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Wednesday and next Thursday, February 20th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s Wednesday and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Thursday.

Next Friday, February 21st, clouds will increase late in the day as a storm may form in the Southeastern United States or near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s.

Next Saturday. February 22nd, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a storm may be situated near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s, depending on whether the coastal storm forms and the track that it takes.

Next Sunday, February 23rd, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning with highs in the mid to upper 40’s depending on whether there is a coastal storm near the Middle Atlantic Coast.

Next Monday, February 24th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Tuesday, February 25th and next Wednesday, February 26th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday and the 40’s to low 50’s next Wednesday.
