Thursday, February 20, 20202 - Morning Weather Discussion

A very nice weekend ahead, followed by some rain, but more snow in North Carolina than many parts of our area have seen all winter…

There will be more snow today in parts of North Carolina than many of us have seen all winter as a disturbance slides through the Southeastern United States. There remain no signs of any significant snow in our area for at least the next two weeks…

Today through Sunday will be nice with highs today in the 30’s, ithe low to mid 30’s tomorrow, the mid 40’s to low 50’s Saturday, and the upper 40’s to mid 40’s Sunday.

Monday, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s.

Tuesday there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Thursday, February 27th, there will be a chance of rain ending in the morning, followed by gradual clearing as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Friday, February 28th, through next Monday, March 2nd, are looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Friday and Saturday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, March 3rd is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.

Next Wednesday, March 4th, is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s.
