Tuesday, February 25, 2020 - Evening Weather Discussion

More rain tomorrow and then colder for the weekend before warming again. And thank you John Elliott for coming to my school today!

John Elliott from CBS Channel 2 was nice enough to come to my school today to talk to the students, hence the photo below. Thank you Mr. Elliott for your presentation. The students and I truly enjoyed it very much! That is me on the left and John Elliott from CBS, Channel 2 in New York City on the right.


It will be variably cloudy with a chance of some light rain, sprinkles, or a shower during the day and then rain will be likely at night as a strong disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Thursday, any rain will end early in the morning, followed by clearing as the cold front departs. Highs will range from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 40’s on Long Island.

Friday through Monday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s Friday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s Saturday, the 30’s Sunday, and the low to mid 40’s Monday.

Next Tuesday, March 3rd, clouds will increase with a chance of a showers as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Wednesday, March 4th, there will be a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Next Thursday, March 5th, through next Monday, March 9th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday, the 40’s next Friday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday, and the 40’s next Sunday and Monday.
