Wednesday, February 19, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

Sneaky storm could bring Eastern North Carolina a Snowstorm tomorrow, but it will be nice here through the weekend…

There is a chance for a snowstorm in Eastern North Carolina tomorrow as a sneaky disturbance passes through the Southeastern United States. There will be a chance for anywhere from just a couple of inches, to possibly a lot more in parts of Eastern North Carolina depending on exactly how the storm develops. The storm will however continue eastward from there, possibly coming as far north as Southeastern Virginia.

In our area it will be nice through the weekend with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s today, the 30’s tomorrow, the mid 30’s Friday, the mid 40’s to low 50’s Saturday, and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Sunday.

Monday, rain will develop in the morning as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Wednesday, February 26th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s.

Next Thursday, February 27th, there will be a chance of rain or snow in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Friday, February 28th, through next Monday, March 2nd, will be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Friday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Saturday, the 30’s next Sunday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.
