Friday, March 27, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

A rainy weekend ahead and then a mid-week  Nor’easter, but will it affect our area?

Today will be variably cloudy and pretty nice with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Tomorrow clouds will increase with rain developing as a warm front and disturbance approach our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Sunday, rain will be likely, ending late in the day and at night, as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will range from the low 50’s in Southeastern NY State, Eastern Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, to the low to mid 60’s in West Central NJ.

Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the 50’s to low 60’s.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a continued chance of a shower or sprinkle. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers, possibly mixed with snow inland, as a disturbance passes through the Southeastern United States, likely developing into a Nor’easter as it reaches the Middle Atlantic Coast, but possibly far enough Southeast of our area to not give too much impact on our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s.

Thursday through next Thursday, April 9th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s Thursday and next Friday, the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Saturday and Sunday, the 50’s next Monday through Wednesday, and in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday.
