Friday, March 6, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

A Nor’easter is developing today well off the coast…

Clouds will increase with rain developing in the late morning and afternoon from south to north, possibly mixing with snow at night in parts of Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a Nor’easter develops well off the coast. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Tomorrow any light rain or light snow will end early in the morning, followed by clearing. There could be some light snowfall accumulation in parts of our area, especially in the higher elevations of Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Sunday and Monday will then be nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Sunday and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Monday.

Tuesday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers developing in the afternoon or evening. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower at night. Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower, especially in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Friday, March 13th, and next Saturday, March 14th, there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Sunday, March 15th, through next Thursday, March 19th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Sunday through Tuesday and the low to mid 50’s next Wednesday and Thursday.

Have a fantastic day!
