Monday, March 2, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

Warmer with some rain tonight and late tomorrow, and then watching a potential Nor’easter Friday…

Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of light rain, drizzle, or showers at night as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will range from the upper 40’s to low 50’s on Eastern Long Island to the upper 50’s to low 60’s in Central NJ.

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with light rain developing in the afternoon and evening as another weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s and 50’s.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry at night. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry or snow shower early in the morning as a very weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Friday there will be a chance of rain or snow as one disturbance approaches our area from the west and another from the Southeastern United States. These two disturbances will likely merge and form a Nor’easter off the Middle Atlantic Coast, but it is still uncertain as to how far off the coast the storm will form. This will bring us a chance of rain or snow Friday with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s, or possibly lower if the Nor’easter affects our area.

Saturday through next Tuesday, March 10th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Saturday, the mid to upper 40’s Sunday, and the 50’s next Monday and Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, March 11th will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Thursday, March 12th, and next Friday, March 13tth, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Thursday and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Friday.

Next Saturday, March 14th, is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Sunday, March 15th, is currently looking nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
