Monday, March 9, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

60’s today in most places, then some rain and possibly a thunderstorm on the way…

Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the 60’s, except the mid 50’s to mid 60’s on Long island.

Tomorrow, rain will develop during the day from west to east, then there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the evening as a disturbance and then cold front pass through our area. Highs will range from the low to mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 60’s in Central NJ.

Wednesday and Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 50’s Wednesday and from the upper 40’s to mid 50’s on Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT, to the upper 50’s to low 60’s in East Central PA and West Central NJ Thursday.

Friday there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms in the morning, followed by clearing, as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Sunday and next Monday, March 16th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a disturbance may pass just south of our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Tuesday, March 17th, through next Thursday, March 19th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs rising from the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday, to the mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Wednesday, and the upper 50’s and 60’s next Thursday.

Next Friday, March 20th, through next Sunday, March 22nd, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day as a stationary front may set up near our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Friday, the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Saturday, and the 50’s next Sunday.
