Thursday, March 19, 2020 - Evening Weather Discusion

70’s tomorrow in most places and then a chance of snow in parts of our area Monday, possibly significant…

It will be cloudy with a chance of a sprinkle, some light rain, or a shower through tomorrow as a cold front passes through our area. Highs tomorrow will be in the 60’s to low 70’s on Long Island, the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Northeastern PA, the mid 70’s in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, and in Fairfield County, CT, and the upper 70’s in Central NJ.

Saturday and Sunday will then be nice with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s Saturday and the low to mid 40’s Sunday.

Monday, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance approaches from the west, likely turning into a Nor’easter off the NJ Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

I am not at all certain yet as to how this storm will work out, but I will post below the latest snowfall maps for this storm from the European and American models, but keep in mind, this year has not favored snow, and one time after the other when it looked as if it would snow, it found a way to not snow, so I remain skeptical. But for those hoping for some snow, possibly even significant amounts, here is your chance….

Tuesday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Thursday, March 26th, and next Friday, March 27th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Next Saturday, March 28th, there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Next Sunday, March 29th, and next Monday, March 30th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Sunday and the 50’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, March 31st, into the morning of next Wednesday, April 1st, there will be a chance of rain as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
