Friday, April 10, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

Rain and possibly some snow showers today, heavy rain Monday, and then rain and possibly some snow Wednesday…

Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as some moisture wraps around a strong Nor’easter off the Maine Coast. There could be a coating of snowfall accumulation in the higher elevations of Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Sunday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers developing in the afternoon and evening, and rain developing at night as a strong disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Monday, there will be rain, heavy at times, ending at night, as a strong disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the 60’s to low 70’s.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with clouds increasing late in the day as a disturbance approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Wednesday, there will be a chance of rain, possibly starting as snow in parts of our area as a disturbance passes through. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.

Thursday through next Saturday, April 18th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s Thursday, the 40’s next Friday, and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Saturday.

Next Sunday, April 19th and next Monday, April 20th, are looking variably cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Sunday and the 50’s to low 60’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, April 21st will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 50’s.

Next Wednesday, April 22nd, and next Thursday, April 23rd, will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Wednesday and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday.
