Heavy rain possible at times tomorrow; rain continuing
Monday; rain developing again Wednesday night, heavy rain Thursday, more rain
Friday…
So, people are asking why all the rain. The answer is that a stationary front has been sitting near our area for a long time, and the disturbances keep riding along this front and through our area. There is no end to this in the near future.
Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or
sprinkle this afternoon or evening in East Central and Northeastern PA, with
rain developing late tonight as a strong disturbance approaches from the west.
Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Sunday there will be rain, possibly heavy at times, as the
strong disturbance slowly passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s
to low 50’s.
Monday the rain will continue as the disturbance continues to
very slowly pass through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 50’s.
Wednesday, clouds will increase with rain developing again
at night as another strong disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be
in the low to mid 50’s.
Thursday there will be rain, possibly heavy at times, as the
disturbance slowly passes through our area. Highs will be in the 50’s.
Friday, the rain will continue as the disturbance slowly passes
through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Next Saturday, May 2nd, will be variably cloudy with a
chance of a shower. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Next Sunday, May 3rd and next Monday, May 4th, are looking variably
cloudy with highs in the 60’s next Sunday and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next
Monday.
Next Tuesday, May 5th, through next Thursday, May 7th, will
be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day as a disturbance passes
through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.
Next Friday, May 8th, will be variably cloudy with highs in
the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
