Thursday, April 2, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

A Nor’easter to back into our area tonight and tomorrow from off the New England Coast…

A Nor’easter that developed off the Middle Atlantic Coast yesterday has moved northeastward to off the New England Coast but has reached some blocking and will now start to move southwestward towards our area tonight and tomorrow…

Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of light rain developing at night as the Nor’easter approaches our area from off the New England Coast. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Tomorrow will be cloudy with light rain or drizzled likely as the Nor’easter passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Saturday through Tuesday will then be nice with temperatures gradually warming from the 50’s Saturday, to the mid 50’s to mid 60’s Sunday, and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower, but it will be warm, with highs in the 60’s as a cold front approaches our area.

Next Thursday, April 9th and next Friday, April 10th will be variably cloudy with highs in the 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday, dropping to the mid 40’s to mid 50’s next Friday behind the cold front.

Next Saturday, April 11th there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Sunday, April 12th, through next Wednesday, April 15th are then looking nice but cool, with highs gradually rising from the mid 40’s to mid 50’s next Sunday and Monday, to the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday, and the 50’s next Wednesday.
