Tuesday, May 5, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion

Cool for the next week and downright chilly Saturday, with some rain and possibly even a few snowflakes in parts of our area…

Unusually cold air for this time of year will be in place for the next week or so...

Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the 50’s.

Tomorrow will be cloudy with a chance of sprinkles in the morning, then rain will develop in the afternoon and evening , possibly mixing with some snow at night in parts of Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Friday, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing in the afternoon and evening, possibly mixing with snow at night in Northeastern PA as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a  chance of a shower in the morning, possibly mixed with snow in parts of Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Sunday is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s and 50’s.

Next Tuesday, May 12th through next Thursday, May 14th are then looking nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, rising to the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday.

Next Friday, May 15th, through next Monday, 18th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day. It is finally looking warm with highs in the 60’s each day.
