Wednesday, May 6, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion

Unsettled and cool with a chance of some rain and possibly some snowflakes in parts of our area through Saturday…

Today will be cloudy with light rain developing this afternoon and evening, ending late at night, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening sprinkle or shower. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Friday, clouds will increase with rain developing in the late morning and afternoon from west to east, possibly mixing with or changing to snow at night in parts of Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange and Putnam Counties in Southeastern NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT. Highs will range from the mid 40’s to low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s to low 60’s in Central NJ.

Saturday, rain, and any snow ending early in the morning, then variably cloudy with a chance of a shower, sprinkle, or flurry. It will be windy, with gusts up to 45 mph possible. It will be chilly, with highs only in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Sunday, it will be mostly sunny in the morning, then clouds will increase late in the day. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or flurry. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Tuesday through next Thursday, May 14th are then looking nice with highs rising from the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Tuesday, to the 50’s next Wednesday, and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday.

Next Friday, May 15th, through next Tuesday, May 19th are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day.  Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Friday through Monday and in the 60’s next Tuesday.
