A major dust storm developed over the Sahara in Africa and has moved westward, reaching the Gulf of Mexico. This area of high level dust will move northward, reaching the Southeastern United States over the next couple of days, and possibly even reaching our area. Click here to read the story.
The rest of today and tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the 80’s to low 90’s.
Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a weak cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Thursday and Friday are then looking nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Saturday, clouds will increase with a chance of a late day shower or thunderstorm as another weak cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.
Sunday through the following Sunday, July 5th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s Sunday, the mid 80’s to mid 90’s next Monday and Tuesday, and the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Wednesday through Sunday.
