Thursday, June 18, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion

A bit unsettled for the next week or so…

Things will be a bit unsettled for the next week or so as a disturbance has developed along the Middle Atlantic Coast and will funnel  moist air into our area off the ocean. The cloudiness and onshore wind will keep temperatures down but will bring us at least a slight chance for showers or thunderstorms every day for the next week or so. High temperatures here will gradually rise from the 70’s today, to the mid 70’s to low 80’s tomorrow, the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday and Sunday, the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Monday, and the 80’s Tuesday, then dropping back a bit to the upper 70’s and 80’s Wednesday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Thursday. Interestingly, highs in inland Maine will be in the low to mid 90’s throughout much of this period as the clouds and rain will stay south of that area.

Next Friday, June 26th, and next Saturday, June 27th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Sunday, June 28th, through next Wednesday, July 1st, are then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will rise from the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Sunday and Monday, to the 80’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
