* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southern Union County in northeastern New Jersey...

  Richmond County in southeastern New York...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 325 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Edison, or

  near Perth Amboy, moving east at 5 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 

           damage to trees and power lines.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...

  Clark around 340 PM EDT.

  Linden and Tottenville around 420 PM EDT.

  Huguenot and Todt Hill around 430 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
