Tropical Storm Fay to bring heavy rain and wind to our area today…

Rain will develop this morning from south to north across our area as Tropical Storm Fay passes through our area. The rain will become heavy at times this afternoon and tonight. It will also become windy, with gusts of up to 50 mph or so possible along the coast. There will be some flooding in parts of our area with rainfall amounts ranging from one to as much as six inches in parts of our area. Right now, the most likely area to receive the heaviest rain will be Southeastern PA, followed by East Central PA, Southern NJ, and West Central NJ. Highs will be in the mid 70’s.

Tomorrow, there will be rain, heavy at times early in the morning, then it will be variably cloudy with a  chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the low to mid 80’s.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 80’s to low 90’s.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tuesday and Wednesday are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Tuesday and the 80’s Wednesday.

Thursday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.

Next Friday, July 17th, through next Sunday, July 19th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Friday and Saturday, and in the mid to upper 80’s next Sunday.

Next Monday, July 20th, and next Tuesday, July 21st, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.

Next Wednesday, July 22nd, is then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.

Next Thursday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.
