We will have typical summer weather over the next two weeks with a chance of afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms today, a slight chance tomorrow, and then a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm Sunday through Wednesday.
Highs today will range from the 80’s on Long Island to the mid 90’s in West Central NJ, tomorrow will be a bit cooler with highs in the 80’s after a cold front passes through our area tonight, rising to from the low to mid 80’s on long Island to the mid 90’s in West Central NJ Sunday, the low to mid 80’s on Long Island to the mid 90’s in West Central NJ Monday, from the upper 70’s to low 80’s on Long Island to the upper 80’s to low 90’s in East Central PA and West Central NJ Tuesday, and from the low to mid 80’s on Long Island to the mid 90’s in West Central NJ Wednesday.
Thursday and next Friday, July 10th, are then looking nice, but continuing to be warm with highs in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Thursday and the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Friday.
If these high temperature forecasts hold, this mean a heat wave from Sunday through next Friday in West Central NJ, and possibly into East Central PA and other parts of NJ.
Next Saturday, July 11th, and next Sunday July 12th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance may develop along the East Coast. It will be cooler with highs in the 80’s.
Next Monday, July 13th, through next Thursday, July 16th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.
