Sunday, July 26, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion

Getting HOT around here again and then watching a potential threat from the Tropics…

It will be mostly sunny and HOT today and tomorrow with highs today in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s today and the 90’s tomorrow.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Some of the storms could be severe. Click here for the latest Convective Outlook from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.

Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice and a bit cooler with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.

Friday through the follow Saturday, August 8th, will be variably cloudy with at least a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day, except possibly next Friday. Highs will be in the 80’s.

We will have to keep an eye on a disturbance in the Atlantic Ocean as it heads west over the next week. This disturbance may develop into a Tropical Storm or Hurricane and could threaten the East Coast of the United States early next week. Click here for the latest on this disturbance from the National Hurricane Center. The disturbance I am referring to is depicted as orange X. You can click on the orange X for more information on the disturbance.
