Chance for showers in parts of our area today, then nice tomorrow and Saturday, but a chance of showers/thunderstorms returning Sunday/Monday…
Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers in Central NJ and on Long Island as a disturbance sits to our south. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower in East Central PA, Central and Northern NJ, NYC, and on Long Island as the disturbance south of our area starts to pull away. Highs will be in the upper 70’s along the coast and in the 80’s inland.
Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Sunday, a disturbance will develop in the Middle Atlantic area, to our south. It is a bit uncertain still as to whether this disturbance will move northward into our area, so I for now we will just say that there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms, especially in Central NJ Sunday, with a better chance Monday during the day throughout our area, as the disturbance may lift slightly northward. Highs Sunday will be in the 70’s, and in the mid to upper 70’s Monday.
Then it is looking as if we may have an extended period of nice weather Tuesday through the following Wednesday with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Tuesday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s Wednesday and next Thursday, August 20th, rising to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Friday, August 21st, and the low to mid 80’s next Saturday, August 22nd, through next Wednesday, August 26th.
