Wednesday, September 9, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion


A disturbance is developing near the Middle Atlantic Coast and will bring heavy rain to our area tomorrow…


Clouds will increase today with showers or thunderstorms developing from south to north as a disturbance starts to develop near the Middle Atlantic Area. Highs will range from the mid 70’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island to the mid 80’s in East Central PA.


Tomorrow showers or thunderstorms will be likely, possibly heavy at times, as the disturbance passes through our area. There could be some flooding with rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches possible. Highs will range from the low to mid 70’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 70’s to low 80’s in Central NJ.


Friday there will be a chance of a shower in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will range from the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 70’s in East Central PA and West Central NJ.


Saturday through the following Saturday, September 19th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Saturday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s Sunday, the 70’s Monday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s Tuesday and next Wednesday, September 16th, the low to mid 70’s next Thursday, September 17th, and next Friday, September 18th, rising to the 70’s next Saturday, September 19th.


Next Sunday, September 20th, and next Monday, September 21st, are then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s next Sunday and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday.


Next Tuesday, September 22nd, is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.
