Hurricane Delta will make landfall later today in Louisiana, with the remnants affecting our area Sunday night and Monday…


Hurricane Delta is currently a major, category 3 hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. Hurricane Delta will make landfall this afternoon or evening in Western Louisiana. This will be the fourth hurricane to hit Louisiana this year, which is just incredible. The remnants of Hurricane Delta will bring us some rain, that could be heavy at times Sunday night and Monday. Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.


Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night as a cold front drops down from Canada into New York State. It will be warm with highs in the mid to upper 70’s.


Sunday, clouds will increase, with rain developing at night, as the remnants of Hurricane Delta approach our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.


Monday, there will be a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times, as the remnants of Hurricane Delta pass through our area. Highs will range from the mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s along the NJ Coast.


Tuesday there will be a chance of showers as the remnants of Hurricane Delta slowly depart our area. Highs will range from the mid 60’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 70’s in Central NJ.


Wednesday through the following Thursday, October 22nd, are currently looking pretty nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Wednesday and Thursday, dropping to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Friday, then rising slightly to the 50’s to low 60’s next Saturday, the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Sunday, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Monday through Wednesday, and then dropping slightly to the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday.
