Saturday, October 10, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion


Remnants of Hurricane Delta to bring our area some heavy rain and flooding Monday…


Today will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm tonight as a cold front drops down from Canada into New York State. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.


Tomorrow clouds will increase with rain developing from southwest to northeast at night as the remnants of Hurricane Delta approach our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s.


Monday there will be rain, possibly heavy at times, especially in the morning, as the remnants of Hurricane Delta pass through our area. There could be some flooding in parts of our area with total rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches likely. Highs will range from the low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s along the NJ Coast.

Tuesday, the rain will end early in the morning as the remnants of Hurricane Delta depart our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.


Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.


Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front and disturbance approach from the west. Highs will range from the mid 60’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 70’s in West Central NJ.


Friday there will be a chance of showers as a cold front and disturbance pass through our area. Highs will range from the mid to upper 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 60’s in Central NJ.


Next Saturday, October 17th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers ending in the morning, as the cold front and disturbance depart our area. Highs will range from the low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s along the coast and on Long Island.


Next Sunday, October 18th, through next Friday, October 23rd, are then currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Sunday, to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Monday, and the low to mid 60’s next Tuesday through Thursday, then dropping slightly to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Friday.
