Sunday, October 11, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion


Remnants of Hurricane Delta passing through our area tonight through Tuesday morning…


Clouds will increase today with rain developing tonight from southwest to northeast as the remnants of Hurricane Delta approach our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s.


Tomorrow there will be rain, possibly heavy at times in Central NJ, as the remnants of Hurricane Delta pass through our area. Highs will range from the low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s to low 60’s along the coast and on Long Island.


Tuesday, rain will end from southwest to northeastern as the remnants of Hurricane Delta depart our area. Highs will range from the upper 50’s to low 60’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in Central NJ.


Luckily, total rainfall amounts will be nowhere near as high as they looked yesterday, with total rainfall amounts ranging from around a half inch in Northeastern PA to around an inch and a half near the NJ Coast. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs ranging from the mid 60’s in Northeastern PA to the low 70’s in Central NJ.


Thursday, clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening with highs ranging from the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.


Friday, there will be a chance of rain as a cold front approaches from the west and a disturbance approaches from the south, causing a Nor’easter to develop near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will range from the mid to upper 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.


Saturday there will be a chance of rain ending early in the morning, followed by clearing, as the storm departs our area. Highs will range from the low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.


Next Sunday, October 18th, will be variably cloudy with highs ranging from the mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the low 60’s in Central NJ.


Next Monday, October 19th, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower at night as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will range from the upper 50’s to low 60’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in Central NJ.


Next Tuesday, October 20th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower, highs will range from the mid to upper 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in Central NJ.


Next Wednesday, October 21st, through next Saturday, October 24th are currently looking nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Wednesday and the mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday through Saturday.
