The remnants of Hurricane Zeta will pass through our area Thursday/Friday, bringing some rain, and possibly even some snow…
Hurricane Zeta is currently entering the Gulf of Mexico and will make landfall in Louisiana Wednesday night. This will be the 5th Hurricane to make landfall in Louisiana this year, which is a record for any state. The remnants of Zeta will then move northeastward, combing with a strong disturbance currently over the New Mexico/Texas border area. This will bring us some rain Thursday and Friday that could mix with or change to snow in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT. Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle this morning and again tonight as a weak disturbance departs our area and a cold front approaches. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Tomorrow, light rain or drizzle will be likely in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.
Thursday, clouds will increase with rain developing from south to north as the remnants of Hurricane Zeta approach our area. Highs will range from the mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s along the coast and on Long Island.
Friday there will be rain, possibly mixing with or changing to snow by late morning in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, where some accumulation is possible, ending in the evening, Lows will range from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s along the coast and on Long Island. Highs will be in the morning and will range from the upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low 50’s along the NJ Coast, then falling.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, but cold, with lows as low as the low to mid 20’s in Northeastern PA, and highs only in the low to mid 40’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower, especially at night. Highs will range from the upper 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s along the NJ Coast.
Monday through the following Monday, November 9th are then looking nice with highs gradually rising from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s along the coast, in NYC, and on Long Island Monday, to from the low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island next Tuesday, and the mid to upper 50’s next Wednesday through Monday.
