Wednesday, October 14, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion

A couple of nice days ahead and then more rain moving in on Friday…

Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60’s.

Tomorrow, clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Friday will be cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning and then rain will develop from south to north in the afternoon and evening, possibly becoming heavy at times at night as the approaching cold front will cause a Nor’easter to develop near the NJ Coast. Highs will range from the mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in Central NJ, in Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT.

Saturday, rain will end early in the morning, followed by clearing as the Nor’easter pulls away from our area. Highs will range from the low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s in Central NJ.

Sunday through next Friday, October 23rd are then looking nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Sunday, to the low to mid 60’s Monday, the mid to upper 60’s Tuesday, and the upper 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday and Thursday, then doping back a bit to the mid to upper 60’s next Friday.

Next Saturday, October 24th, is looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s.

Next Sunday, October 25th, through next Tuesday, October 27th, it is currently looking as if we will have a chance of a shower each day as a disturbance may develop along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Sunday, dropping slightly to the  mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Monday and the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Tuesday.
