Major Hurricane Delta is approaching the Gulf of Mexico and will make landfall Friday evening near the Texas-Louisiana border. It is possible that Hurricane Delta could be a major hurricane at landfall, doing severe damage. Luckily, the Texas-Louisiana border area is not highly populated. Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle this afternoon or evening, especially in Northeastern PA and Southeastern NY State as a disturbance passes to our north. Highs will range from the mid to upper 60’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 70’s in Central NJ.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs ranging from the mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in Central NJ.
Friday and Saturday will be nice with highs ranging from the low 60’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 60’s in West Central NJ and in the low to mid 70’s Saturday.
Sunday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers developing in the evening as the remnants of Hurricane Delta approach from the west. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers as the remnants of Hurricane Delta pass through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.
Tuesday, through the following Tuesday, October 20th, are currently looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day as a stationary front may develop near our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s Tuesday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Thursday, the 60’s next Friday, the low to mid 60’s next Saturday, and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Sunday through Tuesday.
