Friday, December 25, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion


Next up will be a repeat performance New Year’s Eve and Day with heavy rain and strong wind…


MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!


Temperatures will continue to drop the rest of the day.


Tomorrow and Sunday will then be nice, but it will start out cold, with highs tomorrow only in the mid 20’s to low 30’s, rising to the mid to upper 30’s Sunday.


Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a weak disturbance and a cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.


Tuesday and Wednesday will then be nice, but cold, with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Tuesday and the mid 30’s Wednesday.


New Year’s Eve, clouds will increase with rain developing late in the day, becoming heavy at times at night, and becoming windy as a disturbance and strong cold front approach from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


New Year’s Day, there will be rain, heavy at times early in the morning and it will be windy, as a cold front passes through our area. There will then be gradual clearing. Highs will be early in the day and will range from the mid 40’s to mid 50’s, then dropping.


Next Saturday, January 2nd, through next Wednesday, January 6th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Saturday through Tuesday, rising to the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Wednesday.


Next Thursday, January 7th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
