Rain for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, with some freezing rain possible New Year’s Morning…
Today will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle, especially in Northeastern PA and Southeastern NY State as a weak disturbance and then cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning. It will be colder, with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s.
New Year’s Eve there will be a chance of light rain as a cold front approaches our area and then becomes a stationary front. Highs will range from the upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s in Central NJ.
New Year’s Day there will be a chance of rain, with some freezing rain possible in the morning, as a disturbance passes to our north and then a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s and 50’s.
Saturday will then be nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Sunday is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance may approach our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Monday, January 4th, through next Thursday, January 7th, are then looking nice with highs gradually rising from the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday, to the low to mid 40’s next Tuesday, the 40’s next Wednesday, and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Thursday.
Next Friday, January 8th, through next Sunday, January 10th, are then looking mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower each day and highs in the 40’s.
