There will be a chance of rain or snow showers, sprinkles, or flurries through Tuesday. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s tomorrow and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Monday and Tuesday. There will be a chance of a trace to an inch of snow tomorrow and possibly again Tuesday in Northeastern PA, far Northwestern NJ, and in Western Orange County, NY.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Christmas Eve, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing in the afternoon. as a strong cold front approaches from the west. It will also become windy at night with gusts up to 50 mph possible. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Christmas Day there will be a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times, and possibly changing to snow before ending in Northeastern PA as a strong low pressure area develops along the front and passes through our area. It will be very windy, with gusts up to 65 mph possible.
Next Saturday, December 26th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Sunday, December 27th, and next Monday, December 28th, will then be nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday and the 30’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, December 29th, through New Year’s Eve are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower each day. Highs will gradually rise from the 30’s next Tuesday, to the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday, and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Day will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
