Saturday, December 26, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion


A repeat performance of heavy rain and strong wind New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day…


Today and tomorrow will be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s today, rising to the mid to upper 30’s tomorrow. 


Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle as a weak disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s.


Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.


Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 30’s.


New Year’s Eve, clouds will increase with rain developing in the afternoon and evening from west to east, becoming heavy at times late at night, also becoming windy at night as a strong cold front and disturbance approach from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


New Year’s Day there will be rain, heavy at times in the morning and it will be windy, ending in the evening from west to east as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Next Saturday, January 2nd, through next Wednesday, January 6th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday, the 30’s to low 40’s next Sunday, the mid to upper 30’s next Monday and Tuesday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Wednesday.


Next Thursday, January 7th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing in the afternoon or evening as a cold front and disturbance approach from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.


Next Friday, January 8th, there will be a chance of rain with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
