Flowers blooming here and more rain on the way for New Year’s Eve and Day…

I just signed up for Fubo TV on a $50 off offer a friend just sent me.  They have some tremendous prices considering the number of channels and channel selection, including local television stations, for those of you like me who would like to cut the cord.  If you use the following link you can get $50 off your first month. Click here for the offer.

I had actual wild strawberries growing outside my new home in Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, NJ just before Thanksgiving and now I have flowers blooming after the 60-degree day on Christmas Eve. This is just ridiculous. I have never seen anything like this before. We dd sneak a bit of cold and a snowstorm in, and there will be a bit of cold weather again, but overall, temperatures will be much above normal for this time of year through at least the middle of January the way it is looking right now.

Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle, especially in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a weak disturbance passes to our north and then a cold front passes through. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s.

New Year’s Eve will be cloudy with a chance of light rain or drizzle as a strong disturbance passes well to our northwest. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

New Year’s Day there will be a chance of rain and it will become windy as a cold front approaches and then passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Saturday through next Wednesday, January 6th, are then looking nice with highs in the 40’s Saturday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Sunday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday, and the 40’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Next Thursday, January 7th, clouds will increase with a chance of showers as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Next Friday, January 8th, and next Saturday, January 9th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a showers. Highs will be  in the 40’s.
