Saturday, January 23, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion

Some snow possible Tuesday into Wednesday morning…

The disturbance for next week had originally looked as if it would cause snow to start in our area Monday night, but the disturbance is being pushed further south than it looked yesterday. This will cause the snow to now be delayed until around midday Tuesday in much of our area, ending by midday on Wednesday. Snowfall accumulations currently look as if they will be in the 1-3 inch range in much of our area.

The rest of tonight will be mostly clear and cold.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Monday, clouds will increase late in the day. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Tuesday, snow will develop in the late morning and afternoon from southwest to northeast as the disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Wednesday, the snow will end by midday with total accumulation of 1-3 inches possible in most locations. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Saturday, January 30th, clouds will increase late in the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.

Next Sunday, January 31st, there will be a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Monday, February 1st through next Wednesday, February 3rd, are looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday, the 30’s next Tuesday, and the 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday, February 4th and next Friday, February 5th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain shower. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday and the 40’s next Friday.
