Rain and snow into tomorrow morning and then watching the
track of a potential Nor’easter Friday into Saturday morning…
There will be some rain and snow today with highs in the mid
30’s to mid 40’s.
Tomorrow the rain and snow will end early in the morning,
then it will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry at
night. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
Trace to an inch: East Central PA, inland Central NJ, Northern NJ
(except far Northwestern NJ), Southern Westchester County, NY
1-2 inches: Southern Westchester County, NY, Southern Fairfield
County, CT
1-3 inches: far
Northwestern NJ, Orange, Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY State and
Northern Fairfield County, CT
2-5 inches: Northeastern PA
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or
flurry. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Wednesday and Thursday are then looking mostly sunny with highs in
the 30/’s Wednesday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Thursday.
Friday, we will have to watch the track of a disturbance that will
develop in the Southeastern United States and then turn northeastward. I think
it is likely that this disturbance will come close enough to affect our area,
but we will have to wait and see…
Friday, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow
developing as a disturbance approaches from the Southeastern United States.
Highs will be in the 30’s.
Saturday there will be a chance of rain or snow as the disturbance
pulls away from our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Sunday, January 10th and next Monday, January 11th, are then
looking nice with highs in the mid to upper 30’s next Sunday and the mid 30’s
to low 40’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, January 12th, clouds will increase with a chance of
rain or snow developing as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in
the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Wednesday, January 13th, there will be a chance of rain or
snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing, as the disturbance departs
our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Thursday, January 14th, will be variably cloudy with a chance
of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Friday, January 15th, there will be a chance of rain or snow developing
as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Saturday, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in
the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
