TODAY – snow developing between about 8 am in East Central PA and 1 pm on Eastern Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT, some rain possible in Central NJ, especially near the coast, and there could be some sleet and freezing rain, highs from the upper 20’s in far Northeastern PA and far Northwestern Orange County, NY, to the low 40’s along the NJ Coast

 

TOMORROW – light snow ending between about 3 am in East Central PA and 12 pm in Fairfield County, CT and on Eastern Long Island, lows in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the 30’s

1-2 inches possible:  inland Central NJ and coastal and Eastern Long Island, and southern parts of NYC

 

2-4 inches possible:  East Central PA, Northern NJ (roughly just south of RT. 78 and northward with the lowest amounts near Rt. 78, northern portions of NYC and the North Shore of Central Long Island

 

2-5 inches possible:  Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT

 

THURSDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a flurry, lows in the 20’s to low 30’s, highs from the upper teens in Northeastern PA to the mid 30’s in East Central NJ and on Long Island

 

FRIDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a flurry, lows from the upper single digits in Northeastern PA to the upper teens along the NJ Coast, highs from the mid teens in Northeastern PA to the mid 20’s in Central NJ

 

SATURDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid single digits to mid teens, highs from the mid teens in Northeastern PA to the mid 20’s in Central NJ

 

SUNDAY – increasing cloudiness, lows from around zero in Northeastern PA to the mid teens along the NJ Coast and on Eastern Long Island, highs in the upper 20’s to low 30’s

 

MONDAY – chance of snow, lows from the mid teens in Northeastern PA, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY State and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, to the low 30’s along the NJ Coast, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s
