More snow and ice today, again in parts of our area Monday, and then watching next Friday…


There will be more snow, sleet, and freezing rain today, ending late this afternoon and evening from west to east as another disturbance passes through our area.  Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.


Total possible snow and ice accumulation:

 

Trace to an inch:  Southern portions of Central NJ

 

1-2 inches:  East Central PA, northern portions of Central NJ

 

1-3 inches:  Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, NYC, and Long Island

 

2-4 inches:  Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.


Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.


Monday a disturbance will pass through our area from the west, bringing a chance of snow to East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange, and Putnam Counties in NY State, and to Northern Fairfield County, CT, rain and snow to Northeastern NJ, Rockland and Westchester counties in NY State and Southern Fairfield County, CT, and rain to Central NJ, NYC, and Long Island. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.


Wednesday is then looking mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 40’s.


Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as another disturbance approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s.


Next Friday, February 26th, there will be a chance of snow as a disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.


Next Saturday, February 27th, and next Sunday, February 28th, there will be a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday and the 40’s next Sunday.


Next Monday, March 1st, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.


Next Tuesday, March 2nd, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s.


Next Wednesday, March 3rd, and next Thursday, March 4th, there will be a chance of a rain or snow shower with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s next Wednesday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday.
