Monday, February 15, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Unsettled through Friday morning with some freezing rain possible tonight into tomorrow morning in northern sections and snow and ice likely Thursday…


Today there will be a chance of light rain or drizzle, possibly freezing in some northern sections as a weak disturbance passes through our area and then light rain, possibly freezing in some northern locations will develop tonight as a stronger disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.


Tomorrow there will be a chance of rain in the morning, possibly freezing in some northern locations, ending in the afternoon from west to east as the disturbance departs our area. With the storm passing to our west, it will pull warm air into our area, with highs reaching the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.


Thursday, snow will develop in the morning, gradually changing to sleet, freezing rain, and then rain as a strong disturbance approaches from the west and passes to our northwest,  dragging warmer air into our area. Highs will range from the mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s along the NJ Coast.

Friday the rain will end in the morning, followed by clearing as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.


Saturday and Sunday are then looking mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s Saturday and the low to mid 30’s Sunday.


Next Monday, February 22nd, will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.


Next Tuesday, February 23rd, through next Sunday, February 28th, are currently looking nice with highs in the low to mid 40’s next Tuesday, the 40’s next Wednesday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday, the 40’s next Saturday, and the 40’s to low 50’s next Sunday.
