Wednesday, February 3, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


This storm is finally moving away, a little more to deal with Friday morning in some places, but luckily the Sunday storm is not happening…


Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry during the day, ending at night, as the Nor’easter continues to slowly pull away from our area. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.


Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.


Friday there will be a chance of snow developing in the morning in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Northern Fairfield County, CT, changing to rain, and rain elsewhere, ending in the afternoon and early evening from west to east as a cold front passes through our area. A trace to an inch of accumulation is possible in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY, with an inch or two of accumulation possible in Northeastern PA. 


Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the upper 20’s and 30’s.


Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the 30’s.


Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 20’s to low 30’s.


Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance may approach our area. Highs will be in the 20’s to low 30’s.


Next Wednesday, February 10rh, through the following Tuesday, February 16th, are currently looking nice with highs in the Upper teens and 20’s next Wednesday, the mid teens to mid 20’s next Thursday, the upper teens to mid 20’s next Friday, the 20’s next Saturday, the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Sunday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Monday, and the mid to upper 30’s next Tuesday.
