Thursday, March 18, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Heavy rain and strong wind later today into tomorrow morning, possibly changing to a touch of snow before ending. 


A strong disturbance is approaching our area and will cause rain to develop this morning, becoming heavy at times this afternoon and evening. It will also become windy with gusts up to 50 mph possible tonight. There could be some flooding with total rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches possible.  Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s.


Tomorrow, it will be windy in the morning with the rain possibly mixing with or changing to snow before ending early in the morning. Little, if any snowfall accumulation will be likely as the disturbance departs as the cold air starts to move into our area. It will be windy early in the morning with gusts of up to 50 mph possible. It will then clear out and be mostly sunny the rest of the day, with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Saturday through next Thursday, March 25th will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 40’s to mid 50’s today, to the 50’s Sunday and Monday, the mid 50’s to low 60’s Tuesday and Wednesday, and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday.


Next Friday, March 26th there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.


Next Saturday, March 27th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.


Next Sunday, March 28th and next Monday, March 29th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a disturbance and then cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Sunday and the 50’s next Monday.


Next Tuesday, March 30th, and next Wednesday, March 31st, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday and the 50’s next Wednesday.
