Chance of a shower and possibly a thunderstorm today, much cooler tomorrow with a chance of a snow shower or flurry in places, and then a Nor’easter Saturday night into Sunday morning…
A cold front will be passing through our area around mid-day today, bringing a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. It will be quite warm ahead of the front this morning, then temperatures dropping behind the front. It will be windy with any of the showers or thunderstorms, with gusts up to 40 mph possible. Highs will range from the 50’s to low 60’s in Northeastern PA this morning, to the mid 60’s to low 70’s in Central NJ, then dropping in the afternoon.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower, sprinkle, or flurry as the air will be a bit unstable with the unusually cold air and the warm late April sun. There could even be a bit of snow accumulation in the highest elevations of Northeastern PA. Highs will be only in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Friday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 50’s.
Saturday, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing at night as a strong distance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Sunday there will be a chance of rain ending in the morning and early afternoon from southwest to northeast as the strong disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the 50’s to low 60’s.
Monday through next Wednesday, April 28th, will then be nice with highs rising from the 50’s Monday, to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Tuesday, and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, April 29th, there will be a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, as a cold front and disturbance slowly approach from the west. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Next Friday, April 30th, and next Saturday, May 1st, there will be a chance of showers as the disturbance slowly passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Next Sunday, May 1st, through next Tuesday, May 3rd, are then looking nice with highs rising from the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Sunday, to the low to mid 60’s next Monday, and the mid to upper 60’s next Tuesday.
