Thursday, May 6, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Beautiful today then rain moving in tomorrow in the afternoon and evening in many places, with a rainy and cool Saturday ahead…


Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.


Tomorrow, clouds will increase with rain developing in the late afternoon and at night from west to east, except possibly in Westchester and Putnam Counties in NY State, on Long island, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a weak disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Saturday there will be a chance of rain and drizzle as the weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s.


Sunday, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing at night as a strong disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Monday there will be a chance of showers in the in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.


Tuesday and Wednesday are then looking mostly sunny with highs in the 50’s to low 60’s Tuesday and the mid 50’s to low 60’s Wednesday.


Next Thursday, May 13th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing in the afternoon and at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Next Friday, May 14th, will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers as the disturbance slowly departs our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50’s.


Next Saturday, May 15th, through next Tuesday, May 18th are currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Saturday, to the 60’s next Sunday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Monday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Tuesday.
