Friday, June 25, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Some sprinkles/light rain/showers possible through the weekend, but getting HOT Sunday through Thursday of next week, and then cooling down again…


Today through Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of some sprinkles or showers on Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT this morning and a chance everywhere at any time Saturday and Sunday, as an onshore wind develops off the ocean, bringing some moist air into our area. Temperatures will warm from the mid 70’s to mid 80’s today, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s tomorrow, and the mid 80’s to low 90’s, except the upper 70’s to low 80’s on Long Island Sunday.


Monday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm in Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s, except the low to mid 80’s on Long Island.


Tuesday and Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. It will be hot with highs in the upper 80’s to mid 90’s,except the mid 80’s on Long Island Tuesday and in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Wednesday.


Thursday and Next Friday, July 2nd will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a cold front approaches and then passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s to low 90’s Thursday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Friday.


Next Saturday, July 3rd, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.


Independence Day through next Thursday, July 8th, are then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Independence Day and the 80’s next Monday through Thursday.
