Hot tomorrow through Wednesday and then what about Independence Day?
The rest of today and tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as an onshore wind continues off the ocean. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s on Long Island and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s elsewhere today, rising to the upper 70’s to low 80’s on Long Island and the mid 80’s to low 90’s elsewhere tomorrow.
Monday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the low to mid 80’s on Long Island and the upper 80’s to mid 90’s elsewhere.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front slowly approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 80’s on Long Island and the upper 80’s to mid 90’s elsewhere Tuesday, and the mid 80’s on Long Island, the mid to upper 80’s in Northeastern PA and along the coast, and the low to mid 90’s elsewhere Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday will be mostly cloudy with showers or thunderstorms likely, possibly heavy at times, as a cold front and disturbance slowly pass through our area. It will be cooler with highs in the upper 70’s in Northeastern PA and the low to mid 80’s elsewhere Thursday and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Friday.
Next Saturday, July 3rd, and Independence Day are then looking variably cloudy with a continued chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Next Monday, July 5th through next Friday, July 9th are then looking variably cloudy with at least a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Monday and the 80’s next Tuesday through Friday.
