Beautiful today and then warmer with a chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day tomorrow, warmer for the weekend, and then watching an approaching cold front and remnants of a tropical system…
Today will be a beautiful day with highs in the 70’s.
Tomorrow, clouds will increase with a chance of a late day shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
A Tropical Storm is likely to develop in the Western Gulf of Mexico today and tomorrow and then head northward, reaching the Louisiana Coast Saturday morning. This disturbance will then move northeastward ahead of an approaching cold front Sunday and Monday. It is possible that some of the moisture from the storm will reach our area Monday and Tuesday.
Saturday and Sunday will be variably cloudy and it will be pretty nice with just a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. It will be warm, with highs in the 80’s.
Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches from the west. It will be warm, with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.
Tuesday will then be mostly cloudy with showers or thunderstorms likely as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 80’s.
Wednesday and next Thursday, June 24th, will then be nice with highs in the 70’s.
Next Friday, June 25th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm during the day, and then clearing at night as a weak disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s.
Next Saturday, June 26th, through next Tuesday, June 29th, there will be a chance of some showers and thunderstorms, especially next Monday. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Saturday and Sunday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Monday and Tuesday.
Next Wednesday, June 27th, is then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
