Wednesday, June 16, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Nice today and tomorrow and then watching a disturbance for the weekend and the remnants of a possible tropical system for early next week…


It will be very nice today and tomorrow with highs in the upper 60’s and 70’s today and the 70’s tomorrow.


Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the evening or at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.


Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s.


Sunday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70’s and 80’s.


A tropical system will be developing in the Western Gulf of Mexico later this week and will head northward towards the Texas Coast this weekend. The remnants of this system will then move northeastward ahead of an approaching cold front. This could bring us a bit of rain early next week.


Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.


Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with showers or thunderstorms likely as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s.


Next Wednesday, June 23rd, through next Friday, June 25th, are currently looking nice with highs in the 70’s to low 80’s next Wednesday, the 70’s next Thursday, and the mid to upper 70’s next Friday.


Next Saturday, June 26th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Next Sunday, June 27th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. High swill be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.


Next Monday, June 28th, and next Tuesday, June 29th, will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
