...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT FOR NORTH
CENTRAL OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN MERCER AND SOUTHWESTERN MONMOUTH
COUNTIES...
At 659 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Windsor, or 10 miles east of Trenton, moving east at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Howell, Hightstown, Allentown, Roosevelt, Cassville,
Adelphia, Clarksburg, Vista Center, Windsor, Six Flags Theme Park,
Imlaystown, Freewood Acres, Jacksons Mills, Twin Rivers and West
Freehold.
This includes the following highways...
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8 and 8A.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 6 and 28.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

was located over Feasterville-Trevose, or 11 miles northeast of
Philadelphia, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
