5 confirmed tornadoes on Friday… Chance of showers or thunderstorms this evening ,then better tomorrow and Tuesday, before the chance for showers or thunderstorms returns…
There was a total of 5 confirmed tornadoes in our area on Friday, making this a tie for the second worst tornado outbreak in our area since records began in 1950. The strongest of the tornadoes was indeed an F3 in Bucks County, PA, just as I had said I thought it was, and then it was an F2 as it crossed the river into Mercer County, NJ. It will be cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms the rest of today. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with just a slight chance of a sprinkle. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.
Tuesday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the 70;’s Wednesday and the mid to upper 70’s Thursday.
Friday through next Tuesday, August 10th, are then looking nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Friday, to the low to mid 80’s Saturday, the 80’s next Sunday and Monday, and the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Tuesday.
Next Wednesday, August 11th, through next Saturday, August 14th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will gradually drop from the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Wednesday and Thursday, to the mid to upper 80’s next Friday, and the 80’s next Saturday.
